Jonah Bamberger
Managing Partner and Executive Chairman
Jonah Bamberger is the Founder and Executive Chairman of Aulder Capital and member of the Investment Committee.
Mr. Bamberger is the founder and Aulder Capital. He has been an active managing partner since its inception in 2012 and has overseen more than twenty five acquisitions and eleven realizations valued at $500m. Jonah was the CFO of Aulder from 2012 to 2018 and has been an active managing partner and member of the IC for the past 10 years. Jonah is also the CEO of Viagem Inc. an affiliated Short Term Rental Venture. Prior to Aulder Jonah was an investment manager in the Israel Infrastructure Fund, a private equity fund located in Tel Aviv, Israel, with over $1 billion in managed assets. Previously, Jonah was a project manager for Siemens Solar Thermal business unit and a Manager at TASC Strategic Consulting providing project finance consulting services to the Israeli Govt., the Kazakhstan Govt., and private firms in Israel and Romania in the transportation and energy sectors. He holds a bachelor’s degree in Industrial and Labor Relations from Cornell University and an MBA from Tel Aviv University.
Amir Heldi
Managing Partner and Co-CEO
Amir Heldi is the Co-CEO at Aulder Capital and member of the Investment Committee. Amir has lead the Investor Solutions and Asset Management teams at Aulder for the past four years. Amir has led the operations and property management teams since 2020 and has been instrumental in working with our lending and equity partners throughout the past few years. He has over 14 years of experience in corporate strategy and marketing, corporate and project finance, M&A and due diligence processes, with both institutional and private client relationships. Amir previously worked as the head of strategy and business development at Colmobil Corp., Israel’s largest automotive importer. Prior to that, he was a principle at TASC strategy consulting, Israel largest management consulting firm. Spanning his career, he has led strategic and financial projects for leading Israeli and international companies, including having responsibility for over $5 billion in M&A activity. He holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Economics from Tel-Aviv University and an MBA from the Interdisciplinary Center Herzliya.
Zvi Chalamish
Managing Partner and Co-CEO
Zvi Chalamish is a Co CEO of Aulder Capital Managing Partner with the 40 Broad Real Estate Funds. Zvika is the founder of the FBRE series of discretionary real estate funds and has been an active member of the Investment Committee since 2016. Prior to this, he was the CEO of the research and investment advisory firm Giza Singer Even, Israel’s largest investment banking and economic consulting firm. During the last 6 years, Zvika has also been a partner in various real estate funds focused on investing in the United States. Previously, he served as CEO of ASHRA, an Israeli Foreign Trade Risks Insurance Company. In addition, Zvika spent 15 years representing the Israeli Ministry of Finance in a wide range of executive positions, which included responsibility for raising foreign currency for the State of Israel in international markets and serving as Deputy Accountant General. He holds a Bachelor’s Degree and an MBA from the Hebrew University in Jerusalem, and is a licensed CPA.
Noam Ayalon
CFO
Noam Ayalon is the CFO at Aulder Capital. Noam joined in 2020 and is located in the New York office. He has over 20 years of experience in senior finance roles with both private and public accounting. Noam previously worked as the CFO of Leascar, one of Israel’s largest players in the car leasing market. During his tenure there, Noam led the firm to grow from a focused small business to one of the largest industry players today. During his tenure the company was active in multiple ventures including investment in the real estate market. Prior to that, he was a senior accountant at KPMG, one of the world’s largest accounting firms. He holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting from the Ruppin Academic Center.
John Reid
Partner and CIO
John Reid is the CIO of Aulder Capital, where he is responsible for sourcing, underwriting, financing, and closing new investment opportunities. John has led over $300 million of transactions at Aulder. Prior to joining Aulder, John was a Vice President in the Property Finance Group at Centennial Bank, with responsibilities ranging from underwriting structured loan products to portfolio management for balance sheet assets. John was also an Acquisitions Associate for Hawthorne Residential Partners based out of North Carolina. As part of the investment team, John helped acquire or develop over 8,400 multifamily and self-storage units throughout the Southeast and Texas, with a total transaction value in excess of $700 million. Mr. Reid holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Economics with Distinction from Duke University.
Robert Johnson
Partner and COO
Rob Johnson is the COO of Aulder Capital and has over 8 years of commercial real estate experience in both debt and equity. Rob has been the leader of the asset management team at Aulder for the past three years and has been instrumental in our success of weathering the Covid19 Pandemic. Rob oversees roughly 2,500 units and across thirteen properties with a value of nearly $500m. Prior to joining Aulder Capital, he served as an AVP at Hanover Street Capital representing Deutsche Bank’s Special Situations Group and Balance Sheet Lending platforms. At Hanover Street Capital, Mr. Johnson was responsible for the asset management of real estate loans in excess of $2B, across multiple property types and markets. Rob specialized in large/syndicated loan management, non-performing loan workouts, and the structuring of REO asset business plans and joint ventures. Prior to joining Hanover Street Capital, he served as an Associate at Tullett Prebon with a primary focus on interest rate swaps and derivatives. Rob has a Master’s Degree in Finance and a Bachelor of Science in Management from Tulane University’s A.B. Freeman School of Business.
Melissa Rodriguez
Asset Management
Ms. Rodriguez is an associate on the Asset Management team where she provides support for managing the firm’s properties, providing financial analysis in support to the financing, marketing and leasing of the properties. She helps to identify and implement different sources of revenue, creating strategies to maximize the properties value while monitoring the operating budget and capital expenditures and providing support to the Property Management Team. Previously, Ms. Rodriguez worked as an Analyst in Advance Consultora where she gathered and prepared data for analysis on demographics, market feasibility, and finances. She fostered and cultivated open and collaborative lines of communication with consultants on the development of data visualization components. Ms. Rodriguez holds a Master’s in Statistics and a Bachelor’s in Economics from Baruch College.
Brook Darby
Operations
Brook Darby is the Sr. Manager of Operations/Marketing with Aulder Capital. Prior to joining Aulder Capital, she worked as an Assistant Marketing Manager for Macerich, where she was responsible for public relations initiatives, print and digital marketing materials, advertising, event planning, sponsorship deals and retailer relationships. Ms. Darby holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Psychology from Clark University and an Associate Degree in Marketing and Advertising Communications from the Fashion Institute of Technology.
